Her story
When Mel first came to me, she already had plenty of training experience and believed she “knew what to do.” She had tried multiple approaches including Keto, Paleo, Joe Wicks workouts, and a 6-week shred at her local gym. Despite her efforts, she still hadn’t achieved the results she truly wanted.
Some of these methods were difficult to sustain long term, while others worked temporarily before she eventually dropped off. Like many people, Mel initially set herself a 3-month goal. I was honest with her from the start, real body transformation takes time, especially when the goal involves building muscle and changing long-standing habits. For most people, the first three months are about creating consistency, not perfection.
Mel began with a plan of three training sessions per week, but during the first few months she often managed only two. Her nutrition wasn’t consistent, and she wanted to maintain a sense of spontaneity in her lifestyle. After assessing her behaviours, workload, and busy schedule, it became clear that she needed simplicity, fewer decisions, and a plan she could actually enjoy.
At every check-in, Mel was honest, accountable, and open, which allowed us to steadily improve her nutrition, her relationship with food, and her training consistency. Reaching three sessions per week became the turning point, this was the real game changer.
After six months, the changes became undeniable. By May 2023, Mel had completely transformed, physically, mentally, and lifestyle-wise. But the journey didn’t stop there. She continued with coaching for ongoing support and accountability, and training became a natural part of her life.
Since then, Mel has completed two photoshoots, now trains four times per week, and enjoys a healthy, balanced relationship with food. No fad diets. No hacks. No TikTok workouts. Just a sustainable lifestyle that fits her life and delivers real, lasting results.
