His story
Scott first came to me through his wife, who’d already achieved amazing results through her own transformation coaching with me. His goal was simple: build muscle and size, to “bulk up” the right way.
Scott already had a good understanding of training and nutrition. He tracked his macros and ate well. But as I often explain to my clients, there’s a big difference between having a plan and having a strategy that actually works for your lifestyle.
Scott was like many men I work with, hardworking, family-focused, and training hard but not necessarily training smart. Before working together, he was in the gym 6–7 days a week, AD HOC sessions, pushing himself constantly but not seeing the progress he wanted.
So, I took a different approach. We reduced training to 5 focused sessions per week, increased intensity and recovery, and built structure into his program so that every session had purpose. More isn’t always better, better is better.
The result? A stronger, more muscular physique, without the unnecessary fatigue or burnout. Scott’s progress was so solid that he even took part in a group photoshoot while still in a building phase, which most people couldn’t do without cutting first. We managed to minimise fat gain and maximise results through a smart combination of nutrition, training, and recovery.
Scott’s journey is a perfect example of what happens when you combine expert coaching with consistency. It’s not about doing more, it’s about doing what’s effective and sustainable for your goals and lifestyle.
