There is more than fat loss to focus on…
you achieved amazing results!
Then got fat again. That slow fat gain is bringing you right back to where you started.
The "I'll start monday, I deserve a treat, I've plenty of time to shift a few lbs"
You failed maintenance.
You only focused when in a fat loss phase. You're only seeing fat loss as progress.
So you approached maintenance not giving a fuck.
You dropped your standards.
You walk less
You stopped doing cardio
You stopped tracking calories.
You lost all structure around your diet...
Maintenance isn't a free for all
It's maintaining ALL habits that got you to you to your goal. Training sessions alone will not maintain the results.
(Food is probably 300-500 kcals more per day not unlimited 👀)
A new goal won't fix this.
A new approach and behaviours will.
Fat loss is temporary.
Maintenance is the skill.
And most people never learn it.
You don't need a new goal to focus, you need to focus on WHY and what behaviours need to change.
Your health is a never ended process...
Accept this and it's half the battle. Or keep yoyo-ing 🤷🏻♀️
