This is what holidays are for

3 plates at breakfast 🥓🥞🧇

A pre lunch snack (usually something sweet 😋) 🍰🧁🍦

2 - 3 plates at lunch 🍜🍛🥘

Unlimited dinner because it's all you can eat.🍕🍔🌮

Liquid calories mean fuck all so drink 10 bevs before 12pm then carry on all day because "I'm on holiday" 🍸🍹🍺

Trust me, I get it because I did all of the above...

It wasn't because I gave myself permission...

It's because I'd grafted prior and been quite restrictive to achieve my physique goals

So like fuck I was holding back on holiday I was going in.. because I love food.

Except this meant gaining 10kg in 2 weeks on one holiday.

I felt awful midway through. I didn't like clothes on and I felt embarrassed.

My worth isn't on my physique nor is my happiness...

But i'm small in height and feel more comfortable leaner.

I had to change.

It didn't mean further restricting either.

It meant being MINDFUL

if you've been to an all inclusive then you'll know the cake tastes the same - "Sames cake"

But we eat it because gotta have dessert... I now skip that.

Breakfast- this includes a protein option when available or a SMALL portion

And..

I stop eating when I'm full 😱

Overindulgence is not joy unless you enjoy feeling as full as an egg on legs

Walking, swimming and exercising isn't a chore and can be included on your holiday.

Trust me you feel better for it and actually have more energy to enjoy the holiday.

You don't come back feeling disgusting and you haven't undone months of graft in 2 weeks.

I've had 2 holidays now where I've come back leaner and lighter because I implemented the above.

Things to remember...

1. We don't exercise because we hate ourselves.

2. Exercise isn't a punishment for what we eat.

3. Food will ALWAYS be there

Enjoy things in moderation but each day doesn't need to be a man v food challenge.

Loving food doesn't mean overindulgence

And for reference, these images where only 4 days apart from one holiday 🤣

While there's focus on the "shred" for a holiday. I'll work on your behaviours, efforts, training and lifestyle above anything else.
